Peas planted in February...now they're flowering! We should have our second crop of peas this year in just a few weeks.

The students, parents, and teachers at Adelante have all helped to create and maintain our beautiful garden. We have 6 raised beds in the main vegetable garden and a beautiful outdoor classroom with recycled redwood benches. We have a composting system to reduce lunch waste and to make organic fertilizer for our plants. The students also get to garden in the beautiful mosaic flower beds right next to their classrooms! Thanks to everyone that makes the garden program possible!
